THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION (FAA) HAS DETERMINED IT NECESSARY TO REPLACE ALL ACTIVE DIRECTIONAL COUPLERS FOR THE ASR-9 TO MAINTAIN ADEQUATE PERFORMANCE AND TO PREVENT LONG-TERM DAMAGE FROM COMPONENTS THAT HAVE SURPASSED THEIR LIFESPAN.
